Jeffrey and I met four years ago at Turbine, Inc., our place of employment. Jeffrey is a content designer whose main task is to write and build the main story line for our game, Lord of the Rings Online. I am a quality assurance tester, tasked with making sure the content is clean and accessible before it is accessed by the players. Four years ago I was assigned to work directly with Jeff on the Epic content. I believe - in game time - it was Volume II, Book 8: The Scourge of Khazad-dûm. We became fast friends.
Every year at Turbine, on the day before the Holiday break, my boss has a screening of The Star Wars Holiday Special. On December 22, 2011, this screening would become our first date, and we've been inseparable since.
